Half Moon

Description
My husband and I quadded up to the Lookout, we haven't been up there since the fire raged through the area. It has changed so much, not many green trees left, just scorched ground and blackened trees still standing, for now. We were racing against the setting sun and actually got to the top minutes before it set behind the mountains. Even though the view will forever be different for us, the soft pink skies casted a beautiful glow over the mountains and the moon was rising, creating some beauty after all the devastation.
